A made-in-USA wool blanket with a centered motif representing Bridge Creek, a sometimes calm, sometimes tempestuous, waterway running through Mitchell, Oregon. This tiny town once held a thriving business district; today, Mitchell welcomes travelers to the John Day Fossil Beds and the Painted Hills. In this pattern, layers of diamonds and zigzags represent colorful, complex hills of the area's dramatic geology.
